I’ve always had a passion for art.
Growing up in the Southern German Alps, I was surrounded by beautiful nature which continiously kept me inspired.
It was on family holidays to Greece where I was first inspired to take photos by my stepfathers passion for photography and the captivating light there. It was him who showed me the basics and I soon filled endless photo albums.Whilst studying in Hamburg nearly 20 years ago and during my design career I continued to capture images with my camera. Travelling to Southeast Asia and Australia in 2002 a passion for travel photography was ignited by the colours of these diverse cultures. Today I live in Cornwall where I am inspired by the scenery and outdoor lifestyle. I love to capture people, places and cultures. Six years ago I set out on a new career in photojournalism and more recently wedding photography.
